The city of Tours has a wonderful Gothic past as well. The Tours Cathedral, with two graceful towers sporting Rennaissance decoration, is the epitomeof Gothic Architecture. The monument is dedicated to Tours' first bishop, St. Gatien, but there are several depictions of St. Martin inside as well. Also, sparkling stained glass shimmers in the rose windows and the choir.
